FAQ
OUR MOST ASKED QUESTIONS ANSWERED
WHICH AREAS WILL BE TREATED?
Depending on what is required, a general pest treatment of a house includes the external areas such as fence lines, garden beds, driveways and more. The internal areas can include kitchen areas, cupboards, walls, corners and all other common areas.
ARE YOUR PEST CONTROL TREATMENTS CHILDREN AND PET FRIENDLY?
Yes, they are! At T&R Pest Control we will only use the safest chemicals for your property to ensure you and your family's health and safety is prioritised. The chemicals that are used for your home are the same chemicals we use in schools, daycares, healthcare settings and hospitality venues. They are also pet friendly.
DO I NEED TO LEAVE THE HOUSE?
No. It is not required to leave your property. Our experienced technicians will guide and inform you on areas that should be untouched for the duration of the service.
HOW LONG DOES A TERMITE INSPECTION TAKE?
Our T&R technician will inspect your entire property and the external areas for termites or termite damage. Usually, this takes up to 1-2h hours. A report will be provided on the findings and the method taken.
HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO TREAT MY HOUSE?
It is highly recommended and essential in several situations, to get your home inspected and treated at least once a year. Regular treatments may be required.
WHATÂ IF IT ISÂ RAINING OR LOOKS LIKE IT IS GOING TO RAIN?
In the case of poor weather, we will be in contact to reschedule the booking for another suitable time for you. Chemicals can be washed away in wet weather which is a poor environment practice we do not condone. Plus, a dry surface will ensure the pesticide applied is effective.
WHICH PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept card payments such as Visa and Mastercards and Cash. Bank transfers may be possible on the day of the service.
DO YOU PROVIDE A CERTIFICATE TO DOCUMENT THE SERVICE?
Yes. A pest or termite service report can be provided to you which is highly detailed and highlights the important procedures taken that day.
